THE PRIME MINISTER

13 DECEMBER 1991

Dear Charlie,

I am sorry that I did not write before we met in Maastricht, to thank you for your hospitality in Dublin last week. I enjoyed our meeting, was enormously impressed by, and jealous of, your accommodation and most grateful to you for giving us such a splendid lunch.

I am glad we have arranged to meet on a regular basis in London and Dublin and I look forward to welcoming you here next year.

Yours Ever,
John

[Norma was thrilled with your lovely + gracious present.]

Mr. Charles Haughey, T.D.
