Mahlon D. Manson

(February 20, 1820 — February 4, 1895) Manson was a medical doctor, businessman, and politician. Mahlon Manson was born in Piqua, Ohio and moved to Montgomery County, Indiana later in life. He attended Ohio Medical College at Cincinnati and studied medicine. After serving in the Mexican War, Manson served as a member of the State House of Representatives (1851-1852). He was elected as a Democrat to the United States House of Representatives for the Forty-Second Congress, from March 4, 1871 to March 3, 1873.
