Resolved, That John Young Brown, not having voluntarily given aid, countenance, counsel, orand encouragement to persons engaged in armed hostility to the United States, and having receivis not entitled a majority of the votes cast in the second district of Kentucky forake the oath of office as a Representative in this House, is entitled to admi from the second congression, and to takeal district of Kentucky, or to hold a seat oath of officeerein as asuch Representative from said district.
