No. 27.

Introduced by Alfred Franklin, of Maricopa County

A Proposition Relative to Suffrage.

It is hereby proposed:

The following separate article shall be submitted to the people for adoption or rejection at the election for the adoption of this Constitution:

Separate Article No. 2. “All persons, male and female, of the age of 21 years, or over, possessing the qualifications provided by this Constitution, shall be entitled to vote at all elections.”

If a majority of the ballots cast at said election on said separate article, be in favor of the adoption of said separate article, then such separate article shall become a part of this Constitution and shall govern and control any provision of the Constitution in conflict therewith.
