Wyoming State Constitutional Convention 1889
The Wyoming Constitution Convention began September 2, 1889 without the authorization from an enabling act. The articles were individually voted on, creating the final Constitution of Wyoming on September 30, 1889. It was later ratified on November 5, 1889.

Concerning Trusts
Any agreement or combination between individuals, corporations, associations, or either having for its object the controlling of the price of any product of the soil or any article of manufacture or commerce or the cost of exchange or transportation is prohibited.
Nor shall any individual, corporation, or association by purchasing or otherwise obtaining any product of the soil or article of manufacture or commerce and by holding or controlling the same to increase the price thereof.
Nor shall any stockholder or stockholders who own or control the majority of the stock in one line of railroad or telegraph or any other common carrier own or in any way control a majority of the stock in any parallel or competing line.
