Article on Militia [Article No. 12.3]

MILITIA.

Section 1. The militia shall consist of all able bodied male such and those who have declared their intention to become such, of the State, between 18 and 45 years of age.

Section 2. The legislature shall, by law, provide for the organization, equipment and discipline of the militia, which shall conform as nearly as practicable to the regulations for the government of the armies of the United States.
