The Civil Rights Act of 1875

Fernando C. Beaman

(28 June, 1814 -- 27 September, 1882) Beaman was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Chester, Vt., Beaman studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1838, commencing practice in Manchester, Michigan. Beaman was elected as a Republican to the Thirty-seventh and to the four succeeding Congresses serving from March 4th, 1861 to March 3rd, 1871.
