Alexander White
(October 16, 1816 — December 13, 1893) White was an American politician and lawyer. Alexander White was born in Williamson County, Tennessee and moved to Alabama in 1821. He served as a Whig to the Thirty-Second Congress from March 4, 1851 to March 3, 1853. After which, he served in the Alabama State constitutional convention (1865) and as a member of the State House of Representatives in 1872. He was elected, again, to Congress as a Republican to the Forty-Third Congress from March 4, 1873 to March 3, 1875.
