Ozro J. Dodds
(March 22, 1840 — April 18, 1882) Ozro John Dodds was an American politician and lawyer. Dodds was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1840. He attended Miami University for four years before organizing a company and enlisting in the Ohio Volunteer Infantry, At the end of the war, Dodds was aware a degree from Miami University, and studied law at the Cincinnati Law School. He was admitted to the bar in 1866, and he later served in the State House of Representatives. Dodds was elected as a Democrat to the United States House of Representatives to fill the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of Aaron Perry. He served in Congress from October 8, 1872 to March 3, 1873.
