Samuel Hambleton

(January 8, 1812 — December 9, 1886) Hambleton was an American lawyer, businessman, and politician. Samuel Hambleton was born in Talbot County, Maryland. He studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1833. While practicing law in Maryland, Hambleton served as a member of the State House of Delegates (1834, 1835) and as a member of the State Senate (1844-1850). He was elected as a Democrat to the United States House of Representatives and served from March 4, 1869 to March 3, 1873.
