ED/IRKP 10 September 1992

Dear Sir Patrick

I have had an opportunity to look at the paper tabled by your delegation entitled "Overcoming Lack of Adequate Channels of Communication and Co-operation between North and South".

I am astounded at such a paper being put forward by Her Majesty's Government. It is an attempt to direct the Talks towards an "Agreed Ireland". As such it is totally unacceptable and we want to put on record our strongest protest at its contents.

Sincerely,

Ian Paisley
