Section 1. The rights of labor shall have just protection through laws to promote the industrial welfare of the state. [+e694921]

The legislature shall provide by law for “A board of labor, conciliation and arbitration,” which shall fairly represent the interests of both capital and labor.[+e694933] It shall be the duty of such board to endeavor by mediation and conciliation to effect a settlement of difficulties between employer and employe.[+e694961] The board shall perform duties and receive compensation as prescribed by law.[+e694933]
