Section 10. A lawfu[+e697237]The right of tria[-e693580]l by [-e693580]jury, both [+e697237] shall rema[-e693580]in c[+e697237]in[-e693580]vil and criminal cases, in all courts of general jurisdiction, shall consist of nine[+e697237]olate, but the Legislature may provide a less number of[-e693580] jurors, except[+e697237] than [-e693580]twelve[-e693580] in capital cases[+e697237]prosecution for offences below[-e693580] the jury shall consist of twelve, bu[+e697237]grade of felony, and in civil cases. A verdic[-e693580]t in civil cath[+e697237]ses m[-e693580]ay be found b[-e693580]y a concurrence of two-thirnl[+e697237]ds of the jurors, and the[-e693580] jury shallnecessary for a [+e697237] be[-e693580] wr[+e697237]aict, buti[+e697237]vedcriminal[+e697237] in suchall shall concur; in courts of inferior jurisdiction a lawful[+e697237] cases when not demanded as the Legislature may provide; provide[-e693580]d, th, both[+e697237]at acivil and criminal cases,[+e697237] jury in the distr[-e693580]ict court shallhree jurors, but in such courts,[+e697237]t[+e697237 -e693580] consist of[-e693580] not less than nin[-e693580]e, civil cases,[+e697237]and a jnc[+e697237]urrer[+e697237]y i[-e693580]ne f[+e697237] two jt[+e697237]hors only[+e697237]e[-e693580] countybe necessary for a verdict, but in criminal cases all shall concur.
