Roads and Transport Motion

There are 0 proposed amendments related to this document on which decisions have not been taken.

The Forum notes with serious concern the under-funding of the roads infrastructure in Northern Ireland and, in particular, the traffic chaos now experienced in the Greater Belfast area. We call on the Government to make greater use of the EU structural funds to improve our roads infrastructure. We further call on the Department of the Environment and other relevant agencies to fully address the development of necessary public transport facilities which could help rectify the present traffic and transport problems.
