Carey A. Trimble

(September 13, 1813 — May 4, 1887) Carey Allen Trimble, a Representative from Ohio; born in Hillsboro, Highland County, Ohio, September 13, 1813; attended Pestalostian School in Philadelphia, Pa., and Stubb's Classical School in Newport, Ky.; was graduated from Ohio University at Athens in 1833 and from Cincinnati Medical College in 1836; taught for four years; practiced medicine in Chillicothe, Ohio; elected as a Republican to the Thirty-sixth and Thirty-seventh Congresses (March 4, 1859-March 3, 1863); unsuccessful candidate for reelection; resumed medical practice; moved to Columbus, Ohio, where he died May 4, 1887; interment in Grand View Cemetery, Chillicothe, Ohio.
