Thomas Haughey

(1826- 5 August, 1869) Haughey became a U.S. army surgeon that served in the Union army from 1862 to 1865. Thomas Haughey was born in Glasgow, Scotland but immigrated to the United States with his father. At first, they lived in New York, then Alabama. He was elected as a Republican to the 40th Congress for the state of Alabama from July 21, 1868 to March 3, 1869.
