Frederick E. Woodbridge

(19 August, 1818 -- 25 April, 1888) Woodbridge was an American lawyer, businessman, and politician. Born in Vergennes, Addison County, Vt., Woodbridge studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1843. Woodbridge was a member of the State house of representatives (1849, 1857, and 1858) and the State senate (1860 and 1861). Woodbridge was elected as a Republican to the Thirty-eighth, Thirty-ninth, and Fortieth Congresses.
