John H. Rice

(5 February, 1816 -- 14 March, 1911) Rice was an American businessman, lawyer, and politician. Born in Mount Vernon, Maine, Rice studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1843. Rice was elected as a Republican to the Thirty-seventh, Thirty-eighth, and Thirty-ninth Congresses serving from March 4th, 1861 to March 3rd, 1867.
