John H. Hubbard

(24 March, 1804 -- 30 July, 1872) Hubbard was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Salisbury, Litchfield County, Conn., Hubbard was admitted to the bar in 1828. Hubbard was a member of the State senate 1847-1849 and was a prosecuting attorney from 1849-1852. Hubbard was elected as a Republican to the Thirty-eighth and Thirty-ninth Congresses and served from March 4th, 1863 to March 3rd, 1867.
