This page lets you examine the detail of a particular moment of a negotiation.
On the left are lists of the current documents under consideration by the committee at this moment and all of the amendments to these documents that have been suggested at this moment. Clicking on these will bring up the draft text of that amendment or document, if it can be calculated, as it exists in the context of this particular moment.
In the centre of the screen you can see the proposed effect of a particular amendment or the affect of a particular vote. The tabs let you select either the agreed text of the base document (the 'agreed text'), the text of any intermediate amendments (the 'intermediate text') that are the parents of this one (these may or may not have been agreed) and the text suggested by the selected proposal.
The 'Markup' display shows the difference between the intermediate text and the proposed text by showing deletions in red highlighting with a strike-through and additions as blue highlights with underlining.
On the right, various tools let you explore the significance of this moment. The document complexity displays show you a representation of all of the proposals and votes that have led to the document having this particular text. You can click on them to navigate to those moments.
Resources and Commentaries allow you to explore any additional materials stored about this moment in more depth.
