Mr. President:-

Your Committee on Manufacture and Commerce to whom was referred files No. 144 proposition for insertion in the Constitution article on the Metric System of Weights and Measures; 140 proposition to protect Manufacturer business against losses sustained, provided prohibition should be inserted in the Constitution; 47. To regulate and license the manufacture and sale of fermented, vinous and spirituous liquors, Beg leave to report that we have had same under consideration. We have carefully and thoroughly investigated each proposition submitted to us and found nothing that we could recommend to be embodied in the Constitution. We refer the same back and recommend that they be filed.
