Diamond-shaped, purple icons relate to decisions taken:

Blue, hexagon-shaped icons relate to 'procedural' proposals that do not directly alter text but affect how a committee does its work (and are usually used only for transient things, such as a point of order.)

This page gives an overview of the alliances and influence
within a process of negotiation.

It does this in two ways.

In the first display, voting behaviour is mapped on to a 1D, 2D (the default), or 3D space. The properties of this display
are that if two actors voted identically, they would occupy the same point on the graph. The less similar their votes,
the further apart they will be on the display.

In the second display, the total number of proposals made by an actor is displayed, and within that total the
number of votes to approve or reject what was proposed is displayed.

Users can choose to restrict the data included in these displays by date or committee, can choose the number of axes used
for the first display, and can choose to display data by individuals or delegations.

Note that 'anonymous' votes are not included in this display.
