The Convention

Washington State Constitutional Convention 1889

A clerk was hired for the Committee on State, School and Granted Lands. Messrs. Stiles and Brown were placed upon the Committee on State, School and Granted Lands. A partial report from the Committee on Legislative Department was read and taken into the Committee of the Whole for deliberation. Proposed legislation was then presented by members of the Convention and referred to the appropriate committees. Notices to amend the Rules of the Convention were presented.
