Letter from the Secretary of State Concerning the Rules of Procedure Agreed by the Forum

[The Secretary of State commends the Rules of Procedure Committee for their excellent work. Unfortunately, he declines to approve the proposed Rules of Procedure immediately and requests the Forum to reconsider the following three Rules:

Rule A(1) - This Rule concerns the title and role of the Forum and needs to be changed.

Rule 6(7) - This is not a Rule within the meaning of Schedule 2 of the Entry to Negotiations Act

Rule 13(1) - The Chairman has a duty to consider the level of cross-community support for any motion which requires it.]
